ZBI (Zebra Basic Interpreter)
Zebra BASIC Interpreter (ZBI) is a programming language that extends and boosts the power of Zebra’s ZPL II® printer programming language.
ZBI can be used to convert and manipulate data making it much easier to integrate a Zebra printer into an existing system. Instead of having to reprogramme the application software to output ZPL commands, you can just use ZBI to interpret and adapt existing format and commands in order to produce matching labels on a Zebra printer.
Similarly, you can convert the output from any device into ZPL so that you can directly connect it to a Zebra printer. You can use ZBI to create additional management controls such as for reporting label usage or operator interference automatically. You can even use ZBI to capture data from a peripheral device and send it to a host ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system for further processing.
- Rapidly solves difficult and unique printing problems.
- Allows Zebra printers to interface to foreign data streams that are not ZPL II compliant
- Leverages the power, features, and speed of ZPLII
- Easy to learn and program Provides maximum benefit and use over corporate networks
