The UnICart from UnIQue ID is a novel and affordable way of transforming desk-bound IT equipment used in warehouses and distribution centres into fully mobile computing and printing workstations.  The UnICart is a fully-powered, wheeled trolley onto which a PC processor, or other computer, LCD monitor, keypad, barcode scanner and desktop printer can be securely placed. 

These robust and versatile units provide the freedom to work efficiently and quickly, increasing productivity, responsiveness and accuracy for a fraction of the cost of installing a traditional mobile solution. For maximum stability and maneuverability, even in the narrowest of aisles, the UnICart has two fixed and two full-swivel rubber wheels, with a foot operated wheel break for simultaneous breaking of both the swivel head and the wheel. The steel construction and rugged build quality make it suitable for even the harshest working environments.

Powered to last - more than 12 hours as standard

The UnICart can be tailored to provide as much power as you need. A single 100h 12vdc sealed Lead Acid battery is incorporated as standard, providing power for a typical 12 hour shift.  Additional batteries can also be installed if extra power is needed. A battery charge monitor is mounted close to the connector to indicate the charge status and the amount of power remaining. An 8 hour charge is all that is required to get the UnICart ready for the next shift. The charging circuitry is contained internally from a single 240VAC switched socket.

The UnICart enables the receiving, inspecting, recording, labelling and re-routing of inbound and outbound products at the point of activity. Tasks such as inventory checks, quality control monitoring, product labelling and packaging can be handled using the same workstation, eliminating the need for multiple static workstations. 

The need for products to be handled numerous times is also eliminated, reducing the chance of damage or loss, and because users make fewer journeys to carry out their tasks, productivity is improved and the time taken to perform tasks is reduced.
