Blackwood, New Jersey – April 28, 2008 -- Francisco Partners, one of the world's largest technology-focused private equity funds, announced today that its portfolio company Metrologic Holdings Corporation, parent company of Metrologic Instruments, Inc., has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Honeywell International for $720 million in cash. The business will be merged with Honeywell Security, part of Honeywell’s Automation and Control Solutions (ACS) business.

Minneapolis, MN, December 20, 2007 – Honeywell (NYSE: HON) today announced it has completed the acquisition of Hand Held Products, Inc., a privately held Automatic Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) company, for approximately $390 million.

Hand Held will become a new line of business, called Honeywell Imaging and Mobility, within Honeywell's Security Group.

Zebra Technologies Europe is announcing the discontinuance of the following Xi and 105SL factory fitted options:

• Coax interface for the XiIIIPlus and 105SL
• 40mm Media Supply Spindle on the XiIIIIPlus
• RS232 DB9 to DB25 adaptor on the 105SL

Last orders for these configurations will be at the end of September. These options continue to be available as field installable kits.

Following the success of the first EMEA-wide printer replacement programme, Zebra Technologies will be running the campaign again in Q4 2007 and Q1 2008. Mid-range thermal printers like Stripe S600 and 105sl are now included in the programme, providing a great opportunity to replace old equipment with the new Z series!

Eastern Data Group has announced that is has been selected to provide new rugged mobile computers for the field force of Lowri Beck Services Ltd. As one of the leading UK utility service companies, Lowri Beck has over 350 agents collecting data for an increasing range of customers and is looking to widen some of their integrated processes. Following successful field trials, Hand Held Product's Dolphin 7900, which has built in GPS from Unique ID Limited, was chosen. The Dolphin 7900 with GPS, GPRS and its associated longer battery life ensures speed and accuracy for customer data capture and the expansion of Lowri Beck Services field capability. Some 100 of the Dolphin 7900 with GPS have been supplied by Eastern Data Group to date.

Hand Held Products Dolphin® 7900 Mobile Computer, based on the Microsoft® Windows Mobile 5 platform, has been selected to be featured at Microsoft® Technology Centers (MTCs) worldwide. The MTCs enable enterprise executives and independent software vendors to envision, architect and evaluate customised IT solutions before making an investment. Customers can participate in strategy briefings, architecture design sessions and proof-of- concept workshops to identify IT needs. The Dolphin 7900 is the only rugged mobile computing device being deployed at the MTC's and is used to demonstrate robust mobile applications for both retail and healthcare.

GPI Migration Layer is a software toolkit that enables C/C++ applications written for the Dolphin 7200 and the Telxon® PTC series (compatible with the Telxon DOS Developer’s Kit III) to be migrated to Hand Held Products’ Windows® CE and Windows Mobile® devices.

The migrated application will have the look and feel of the original DOS based application, which ensures immediate familiarity for the users who are accustomed to the equivalent Dolphin 7200 version. In most cases of migration, no changes will be made to the business logic of the application, which practically eliminates the possibility of introducing (new) bugs into it.
