A Refreshing Change
-
6/12/2008 9:26:00 AM
Unique ID’s company logo has undergone a ‘new look’ makeover to re-invigorate the corporate identity.
At Unique ID it was felt that the company needed to evolve the brand and clarify the company’s role in the market. Unique ID has grown substantially in recent years and introduced product lines that alter the company’s role and felt that the existing logo did not convey the correct image of what Unique ID encompasses as a whole within the Barcode and Auto ID sector.
Those at Unique ID feel that the new look will help move the company forward to build on its strengths and to continue providing industry with the high levels of service for which UnIQue ID has become known.

Introducing Z-Slip: Zebra's innovative new all-in-one packing-slip solution!
-
10/12/2007 12:06:00 PM
Who would see the advantage of using Z-Slip?
Faster and better packing solutions and a chance to showcase your brand. This article highlights the ways in which Zebra Technologies Z-Slip + XilllPlus printers are an investment for brand protection.
Companies shipping high volumes of small consignments or packages will greatly benefit from Zebra's new Z-Slip solution. Printed using a Zebra XilllPlus printer, which offers high print speeds, excellent reliability and superb print quality, Z-Slip offers a faster and better packing solution.
Z-Slip can save organisations money: companies shipping 1000 packages per day can save around 2000 hours of labour time per year using Zebra's Z-Slip packing slip solution. At an average of €12 per hour, this equates to a saving of €24,000 per year, per shipping department!
Z-Slip offers organisations brand protection: often the only printed material your customer will see is on the box you despatch them. This means your organisation has only one chance to showcase your brand-so don't allow your packing slip to undermine it.

Zebra Technologies Launches Z-Slip Packing Slip Solution
-
5/22/2007 9:04:00 PM
Zebra Technologies has introduced a patent-pending new way for shipping departments to save substantial time when printing and applying packing slips. It's the Z-Slip packing slip solution - consisting of their new Z-Slip packing slip label with integrated, peel-and-stick sleeve and a 170XiIIIPlus™ high-performance wide-label thermal printer.
Printing and applying traditional packing slips is a labour-intensive process that devours an average of 40 seconds per package. It requires shipping-department employees to print a slip on a laser printer…fold the slip in half at least twice…slide the slip into the sleeve…remove the liner…and stick the sleeve onto the box. With the all-in-one Z-Slip system, they can print, peel, and apply in just 11 seconds!

Migration of Dolphin 7200 Applications
-
3/22/2007 3:53:00 PM
GPI Migration Layer is a software toolkit that enables C/C++ applications written for the Dolphin 7200 and the Telxon® PTC series (compatible with the Telxon DOS Developer’s Kit III) to be migrated to Hand Held Products’ Windows® CE and Windows Mobile® devices.
The migrated application will have the look and feel of the original DOS based application, which ensures immediate familiarity for the users who are accustomed to the equivalent Dolphin 7200 version. In most cases of migration, no changes will be made to the business logic of the application, which practically eliminates the possibility of introducing (new) bugs into it.
