Dolphin Power Tools

Dolphin Power Tools are a set software utilities developed and provided by Honeywell. These tools that can be used in application development and deployment, in conjunction with other applications, or as stand alone applications on Dolphin terminals. 

Dolphin Power Tools provide users with many varying functions and operations. The tools perform such vital system tasks as retrieving device information, customizing the user interface, working with the registry, pinging the networking, and providing easy access to barcode data. In addition, there are utilities for application launch management and device configuration and deployment.

• EZConfig Suite – Tools for configuring many aspects of the device such as the radios and the configuration files for many of the Power Tools. EZConfig also provides a method for modifying and deploying registry edits.
• EZMenu - Customizable application launcher that creates custom launch menus and controls the application environment by locking out user access to the Windows Mobile Start Menu and the Application Exit button. With EZMenu, customers have more control over the device environment for launching and handling their applications. Upon booting the device, the user can be presented with a window with available applications while hiding the rest of the Windows Mobile environment.
• ScanWedge - Capture and sends data from the Dolphin's decoder, serial port, and IrDA interface to the foreground application as if it were entered via the keyboard.
• SysInfo - Retrieve and display device configuration information
• HotKeys – Assign keys to launch user applications
• Miscellaneous Tools – Keyboard status icons, network utils (ping, trace route, and ipconfig), software hard/cool reboot, and RAS server connection tool.
